Sandra Moffat is a Scottish artist known for her layered, mixed media works that explore the atmosphere of place. She lives and works in Glasgow.

Sandra studied Embroidered and Woven Textiles at the Glasgow School of Art, graduating in 1986. Her years there laid the foundation for her understanding of surface, structure and material, all of which would later become key elements in her painting practice. After graduating, she built a successful career in interior design, She spent over a decade in the industry, gaining valuable experience in the visual language of interiors, composition, colour, texture, scale.

Since then, Sandra has developed a distinctive visual language, drawing from both her textile background and her intuitive understanding of landscape. Her work has been selected for exhibitions with the Royal Glasgow Institute RGI, Visual Arts Scotland VAS, and the Paisley Art Institute, and is held in private collections across the UK, Europe, North America and Canada.
